We feed self produced hay only to cattle.
To prevent the introduction of weed seeds to our paddocks and possible infection of cattle diseases,
we make an effort to stock enough amount of hay by ourself.
Various types of pastures are prepared for hay and silage production.
Typical composition of varieties used are mixture of ryegrass, oats and clover, lucerne and oats, fescue cooksfoot and clovers.
In dry season, we pay attention to feed good quality hay to growing cattle as to promote rumen development and control the feeding of pellets and concentrate rations as little as possible.
Every year we produce 12,000 hay bales. Its total weight is 4,800 ton.
